So glad this place is back in business. The lucky fried rice, noodles with pork gravy, black bean chicken are all amazing. I get everything spicy when it's an option. The family running the business are always so nice and welcoming. They're back on my regular take out radar. Welcome back!

I finally got to have my Chinese cuisine from Lucky Chinese right across from Matt's at the end of 4th Ave going towards 1st Ave bridge it's a nice clean cozy small seat maybe 30 my first indication must be a great place because there were so many cars in front but as I entered it was just one customer besides me. The gentleman behind the counter was curious with he's greeting, he noticed it took me a moment to order.."First time" I just smiled and looked around to see who he was talking to but ultimately I selected Number 15 Mongolian Beef to go. Exiting then the crowd it seemed like I was a doorman. I couldn't wait to get through that plastic bag and into that styrofoam container at glance two mounds of rice in back and a big significant amount of beef,onion,etc.. it looked like a smiley face but I went to work it was good. I will most definitely will go back for round two, now that I have a (Menu) To-Go. For me it's a on the go GOODY!!

Service was fast and easy! Enjoyed the complimentary hot and sour soup at the beginning of the meal. Lucky fried rice: I would definitely come back here for the fried rice. It was super tasty and my favorite dish. Will come back to try some noodle dishes Spicy wontons: sauce was a little too sweet over being savory, but tasted good with the fried rice Hot pepper fish: I didn't care for the fish dish we got, where the sauce didn't taste like it complimented the fish and the meat tasted a bit too fishy. I know their food is good here, so I want to come back and try another protein dish!

I say this with great reverence: this is the best chinese restaurant in this entire city. I have searched far and wide for the tastes of Chinese food from Chicago and the east coast. People who know, know what I am talking about. It is the distinct wok hay taste, the awesome family that runs the place, the neighborhood vibe, all of it comes together. If youve been searching for the GOOD fried rice, it is here. The real taste of Mongolian Beef, here. Kung Pao, here (pro-tip, it is called hot pepper diced chicken on the menu). Plus the delicious hot and sour soup is tasty, savory, and fortifying. Above all, they are so welcoming, warm and accomodating to my child, who is on the spectrum, and only likes fried rice with nothing but soy sauce and seasoning. They cooked it up perfectly and now my kiddo is hooked. When this place closed on 4th ave, it crushed my whole world. I am so happy to have Lucky Chinese back. Long live Lucky Chinese!
